Privacy Policy
StudyGrid does not require an account. We collect as little as a static tutorial site can: what you type in a contact email, and what your browser stores locally for the editors.
Who we are
StudyGrid is the free tutorial site at studygrid.in. For privacy questions, write to info.studygrid@gmail.com.
What we do not collect
- No user accounts, passwords, or profiles.
- No payment data. Lessons and editors are free.
- No advertising cookies, and no sale of personal data.
- Code you type in Try Python, Try HTML, Try C, or Try C++ is not uploaded as a homework journal. It stays in your browser unless you email it to us yourself.
What may be stored on your device
The four editors use localStorage and sessionStorage so a snippet can survive a refresh. That data lives on your computer. Clear the site data in your browser to remove it. Details are on the cookie policy.
Contact mail
If you write to info.studygrid@gmail.com, we receive whatever you put in the message: typically a name, a return address, and the question. We keep that only as long as we need to answer it, then delete it from the inbox in the ordinary way. Do not send special-category data (health, biometrics, children’s school records).
Fonts and other third parties
Pages load Inter and JetBrains Mono from Google Fonts. Google may see your IP address as part of serving those files. Compiler and Python runtimes in the browser may download WebAssembly or interpreter files from the hosts we use to run gcc, g++, and Python. Those requests are for teaching, not for building an ad profile.
Children
The tutorials are written for learners, including school-age readers with a parent or teacher nearby. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has emailed us personal data, write to info.studygrid@gmail.com and we will delete the message.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. For StudyGrid that is almost always “the email you sent.” Write to info.studygrid@gmail.com and name the request.
